Collaborative Services Committee (CSC)
The Thompson Region Collaborative Services Committee (CSC) embodies the collaborative working relationship with the Thompson Region Division of Family Practice, Interior Health, Secwépemc Nation, Doctors of BC, Ministry of Health, the Family Practice Services Committee, Royal Inland and Hillside Physician Association, and the University of BC Family Practice Residency Program.
The committee is dedicated to improving patient care and outcomes by bringing together diverse voices, including patients and community members, to discuss clinical issues and develop innovative solutions. This process emphasizes shared responsibility for the community’s health and is focused on creating effective and efficient health care systems.

Community and Recruitment Advisory Committee
The Community and Recruitment Advisory Committee was formed in November 2024 to develop, implement, support, and measure progress of a sustainable solution for the recruitment and retention of family physicians. As a collaborative group, the committee meets regularly to discuss health care recruitment and retention strategies to address forecasted needs within the Division.

Shared Care Steering Committee
The Division’s Shared Care Steering Committee provides strategic support, advice and input to the development, progression, and alignment of Shared Care projects and integration of shared physician initiatives to address the community gaps in care. Additionally, the steering committee facilitates communications between the Division and Royal Inland and Hillside Physician Association, Interior Health, and community providers (including family physicians, nurse practitioners, and specialty physicians).

Thompson Region PCN
Steering Committee
Primary Care Networks (PCN) are part of the BC Ministry of Health Primary Care Strategy. The aim is to focus on a team-based care approach to delivering primary health care services.
The Thompson Region Primary Care Network Steering Committee (PCNSC) oversees the strategic planning, establishment, and ongoing operation and evaluation of the Thompson Region PCN, which is made up of two PCN regions: the Kamloops PCN and the Lower Thompson PCN.
The committee is responsible for implementing the PCN service plan, analyzing PCN issues and opportunities, setting goals, communicating expectations, evaluating, and measuring impact. The committee also provides governance and leadership to all PCN activities and working groups.
