Established community-based family practice available effective September 30, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking to assume care of a well-established patient panel, either in full or in part, depending on preference. There is no obligation to assume the entire patient list; physicians may choose to take on a portion of the panel if desired.
The office is located within a shared professional environment alongside three other physicians, providing collegial support while maintaining independent practice. The premises include a private office within a larger shared suite. Monthly rent is very reasonable, and overhead expenses are shared among the offices, helping to keep operating costs manageable and predictable.
This opportunity would be well suited to a single practitioner looking to step into an established practice with an existing patient base. It may also appeal to two physicians wishing to work collaboratively and share responsibility for the panel.
Transition planning can be flexible to support continuity of care and ensure a smooth handover for both patients and the incoming physician(s).
Further details regarding patient demographics, office structure, and timelines are available upon request.

Nurse Practitioner Opportunities

Foundry Kamloops is hiring a Permanent Full Time Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care services to youth aged 12–24 at Foundry Kamloops, in a new, welcoming, and collaborative care environment. Working alongside an interdisciplinary team of physicians and allied health professionals, the Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in improving timely access to high-quality, youth-centered care.

Foundry Kamloops brings together multiple service providers to reduce barriers for youth and families seeking support. The goal of Foundry is to enhance access to integrated services, including primary care, mental health support, substance use services, social services, and peer and family navigation. The NP practices both autonomously and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, providing clinical leadership and guidance to other health professionals and facilitating referrals to specialists as needed.

This role includes a focus on supporting diverse and often marginalized populations, including Indigenous youth. Cultural humility and a commitment to culturally safe care are essential. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in cultural safety training. In addition to direct patient care, the Nurse Practitioner collaborates with patients, families, and team members to identify health trends and implement evidence-informed, population-based strategies to improve outcomes.
