Barriere is a proud agricultural community dedicated to advancing farm living in the North Thompson Valley. Barriere is home to a vibrant and active 4H Club and is well known throughout the province for their annual Fall Fair and Rodeo. Chase
Gateway to the Shuswap
The Village of Chase is nestled between the shores of Little Shuswap Lake and the South Thompson River Valley. Chase Creek, which drops over three small waterfalls before flowing through the town, enters the South Thompson River just below the lake’s outlet.
The downtown core is lined with seasonal blooms and is easy walking to a variety of specialty stores, local art, cultural experiences and restaurants. Stop by one of the coffee shops, bakeries or grocery outlets and enjoy a cappuccino, refreshing fruit smoothie to go with your lunch, or pick up your favourite fresh deli supplies, baked goods and treats for a picnic in a waterside park (Memorial or Willson).

Logan Lake

The community of Logan Lake is nestled in the mountains and is afforded beautiful recreation in all four directions. The lakeside access is a year round amenites loved by locals. Biking, hiking, camping, golfing and fishing are some of the many favourite pastimes of the community. The downtow core is lined with seasonal blooms and is easy walking to a variety of speciality stores.
Logan Lake is a young community that was formed to accommodate mining in the areas. Logan Lake is home to one of the largest mining operations in the world – Teck Highland Valley Copper. The community has excellent amenities and considered to offer great economic opportunity with affordable living.
Health Care Logan Lake, BC
Logan Lake has a Primary Health Centre with a healthcare team that works collaboratively to offer a range of health-care services on-site. Care is client-centered and culturally safe. The Health Centre offers both in-person and virtual physician care and a nurse practitioner. Services are also provided with a social worker and nurse.
North Shuswap
The Shuswap is called a place of gathering and a four season playground. Cycle to a vineyard, paint at the pub, paddle to the park, hike to a hot spring or just lounge lakeside. In the Shuswap, people live to explore and experience!
Health Care North Shuswap
The North Shuswap Health Centre is a Community Health Care Centre that provides Primary Health Care. We provide a Shared Care Clinic program with regular physicians & contract doctors.
Allied Health Services include: Clinical Counselling, Poverty Reduction Outreach, Foot Care Nurse, Seniors & Community Resources, and bi-weekly laboratory services (blood services & ECGs).
Sun Peaks
Where You Belong!
Sun Peaks Resort is a well thought out community that encourages active transportation and makes for plenty of connections. The village has been designed around a stroll flanked on each side by a wide variety of commercial businesses to satisfy a visitor’s every need.
In the summer, the mountains are alive with an abundance of blooms making alpine hiking, walking and biking a joy. The shoulder seasons are quiet months where locals enjoy the sense of peace before winter snowfalls or the awakening of frozen lakes which can be easily accessed in spring, summer and fall.
