Royal Inland Hospital

The Royal Inland Hospital (RIH), part of the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap health service area, is the only tertiary referral hospital in the region. It serves a catchment area of over 225,000 British Columbians including Barriere, Chase, Logan Lake, North Shuswap and Sun Peaks.

Located in Kamloops, BC, RIH offers high-level, specialty medical care including 24-hr emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and medical imaging. Other specialized departments include cardiology, surgery, maternity, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), intensive care unit (ICU), mental health unit, internal medicine, neurology, and more.
