Kamloops for Kids

Kamloops for Kids

Indoor attractions and outdoor thrills offer family fun and adventures with new friends. A variety of venues and facilities, a strong athletic culture, and an enthusiastic volunteer base, it’s no wonder Kamloops is Canada’s Tournament Capital. Organized athletics for a myriad of sports offer training and development for youngsters and elite athletes alike.

Make Family Time

Kamloops has a vibrant horseback riding community. From cattle country to scenic forest trails, group rides, and ranch stays, this is the place to get back to nature. Kids keep cool in neighbourhood water parks, visit the nearly 200 animals at the BC Wildlife Park, skate the world’s first longboard park, muck up with paintball, zipline past canyon walls, blaze the trails in Sun Peaks’ Bike Park, or take a lunch and the dog for a swim at one of the city’s dog-friendly public beaches.

Established community-based family practice available effective September 30, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking to assume care of a well-established patient panel, either in full or in part, depending on preference. There is no obligation to assume the entire patient list; physicians may choose to take on a portion of the panel if desired.
The office is located within a shared professional environment alongside three other physicians, providing collegial support while maintaining independent practice. The premises include a private office within a larger shared suite. Monthly rent is very reasonable, and overhead expenses are shared among the offices, helping to keep operating costs manageable and predictable.
This opportunity would be well suited to a single practitioner looking to step into an established practice with an existing patient base. It may also appeal to two physicians wishing to work collaboratively and share responsibility for the panel.
Transition planning can be flexible to support continuity of care and ensure a smooth handover for both patients and the incoming physician(s).
Further details regarding patient demographics, office structure, and timelines are available upon request.
